Hi, I'm Khyati Koria-Green. I have witnessed my father's journey since I sat beside him in my baby bouncer. I grew up surrounded by art matererials and piles of paper allowing me to spend my days drawing and painting. I eventually started to help with his work then developed my own creative practice.

I am now a Lecturer in Art and Design at Loughborough College where I teach students the lessons that I was once taught by watching him work, following his guidance and practicing techniques, I now share his teaching with my students who remind me of myself when I was aspiring to follow a career in arts.

I am also an Exhibitions Curator, in the fortunate position to fulfill a lifelong ambition in curating my father's solo Exhibition at Leicester Museums due to happen in September 2024.

Looking back through is work, sharing memories, learning about his childhood and being transported back to those days in our Belgrave road, terrace house when it all seemed so normal to see him create his masterpieces... I see it now as a parent. Those decisions, the risks, the commitment and the dedication and support that was given by my mum.

From one generation to another, I now watch my children sit beside my dad creating artworks.... that creative flame continues to burn.
