Bringing Peace through Art: My Buddha Paintings

Bringing Peace through Art: Kamal Koria’s Buddha Paintings

Buddhism teaches us about finding peace, being mindful, and balancing our mind and heart. These ideas have always inspired me in my work as an artist. For over 40 years, I have been painting, and many of my pieces focus on the image of the Buddha. Through my art, I try to capture the calmness and peace that the Buddha represents.

My Inspiration

In Buddhist philosophy, peace and balance are very important. When I paint the Buddha, I focus on showing these ideas. I want each shape and colour in the painting to feel balanced and peaceful. The soft lines and gentle colours like gold, blue, and green create a sense of calm and harmony. This balance is not just in the way the painting looks, but in the feeling it gives to the viewer.

The Buddha’s Connection with Animals

In many of my Buddha paintings, you will often see animals included. The Buddha is said to have had a close relationship with animals, and they appear in many stories from his life. Animals symbolize wisdom, protection, and kindness, and I believe their presence adds to the feeling of peace in the painting. Each animal plays a special role in deepening the spiritual message of the artwork.

A Piece of Peace

In today’s busy world, it’s important to find moments of calm. My Buddha paintings are a simple way to bring peace and balance into your daily life. They remind us to slow down, reflect, and focus on what’s important.

With my Buddha paintings, you are adding a unique piece of art to your walls that brings a little of that peace and harmony to you for years to come.
